Apparently there is a way to add web links in internet pages that basically allows somone to call you with one click if they are searching the web with a mobile device.

For Regular phones the link would be like this: wtai://wp/mc;5555551212

iPhone users can use the more simple: tel:1-555-555-1212

So yet another feature my beloved internet has brought me that I can sue to show I am nerdier than you!

Well with the new 3G iPhone rumored to be released some time within the next few months (late August to early September is what I hear) I can't help but feel like an idiot for begging my wife to get me one last Chistmas. Now don't get me wrong I've enjoyed every moment that my iPhone and I have spent together since that day, but as a habitual early adopter of new technology I always feel screwed when the 2nd generation of any product comes out.

The new iPhone is going to of course be a lot faster than the old EDGE network 1st generation ones like the one I have. But hell, at 143k/s my iPhone is still faster than your average dialup when I've got a good signal. My main heartburn with this si tat the new phone will likely fix all the bugs and hardware shortcomings in the old phone which all combined keep me from truly enjoying my phon as a phone.

Am I alone here or is everyone sick of getting shafted by the man?
